Pricing & Booking
How much does gutter cleaning cost?
Our pricing is published and all-in — no hidden fees, no add-ons, no upsells. Single-Story (under 2,000 sqft, 1-story) — $275. Two-Story (2,000-3,500 sqft, 2-story) — $450. Metal Roof Premium — add $49 to either tier. No sales tax (gutter cleaning is a service on real property, which is tax-exempt in Tennessee). Every service includes full debris removal with our industrial ground-level vacuum system, before-and-after camera documentation, and debris hauled away.
How do I know which pricing tier to pick?
Two factors: your home’s square footage and the number of stories. Under 2,000 sqft and one story is Single-Story ($275). 2,000-3,500 sqft and two stories is Two-Story ($450). If you’re not sure which tier fits your home, call us at (615) 527-8889 and we’ll confirm in two minutes — no site visit required.
Do I need an estimate, or can I just book?
You don’t need an estimate. Our pricing is published on the website — pick your tier and book online. If you’re not sure which tier fits your home, call us at (615) 527-8889 and we’ll confirm it in two minutes over the phone. No site visit, no sales pitch, no waiting for a quote to come back. The price you see is the price on the invoice.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Payment is automatically charged upon completion of the service. A card on file is required to hold your appointment, but you’re not charged until the job is complete.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancellation 24+ hours before: free to reschedule with no penalty. Under 24 hours: $50 cancellation fee applies. No-show: $75 charge. If weather forces us to reschedule, there are no fees — we’ll set up a makeup date at no charge.
The Service
How does ground-level gutter cleaning work?
Ground-level gutter cleaning uses a specialized industrial-grade vacuum system combined with an extension wand that reaches up to your gutters from the ground. Our technician walks the perimeter of your home, vacuuming out leaves, debris, and buildup while staying safely on the ground. No ladders, no climbing — just a safe, efficient clean.
How long does a typical job take?
Most residential gutter cleaning jobs take 1 to 2 hours, depending on the size and length of your gutter system, the amount of debris, the number of stories, and accessibility. We’ll provide a time estimate during your booking call.
Do you do before/after photos?
Yes. Every job includes camera documentation. We take before photos to show the condition of your gutters, and after photos to show the completed work. You’ll receive copies so you can see exactly what was removed and the results.
Can you clean gutters that have guards installed?
We vacuum debris off the top of your guards at no extra charge as part of standard service. We do not remove guards or clean the trough beneath them — that requires guard removal, which is outside our scope. Before and after photos document guard condition every visit.
Do you repair or install gutters?
No. Ground Force Gutters is a cleaning and inspection service only. We don’t repair, seal, re-pitch, or install gutters or downspouts. If our camera inspection finds damage, we document it in your photo report and can point you to a trusted contractor.
Safety & Liability
Is ground-level cleaning as effective as ladder cleaning?
Yes, ground-level cleaning is equally effective — and in many cases more effective. Our system’s powerful suction removes debris, silt, and compacted buildup that might be missed from a ladder. Plus, no ladder means zero fall risk to our technician or damage risk to your home. You’re hiring an insured company, not a guy with a bucket.
What if something is damaged during the cleaning?
We carry comprehensive liability insurance to protect you and your home. Our technicians are trained to work carefully around siding, landscaping, roof edges, and other home features. In the unlikely event of damage, we’ll document it immediately and work with our insurance carrier to make it right.
Are you insured?
Yes. Ground Force Gutters is a fully insured business. We carry general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance available on request.
What about bird nests in my gutters?
The federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) protects active bird nests. If we discover an active nest with eggs or nestlings, we stop work immediately and notify you, clean all accessible sections around the nest, and schedule a return visit at no charge once the birds have naturally fledged (typically 3-4 weeks). We’ll never remove or disturb a protected nest.
What happens if my pet is in the yard?
We ask that all pets be secured before our appointment — either indoors or in a fully enclosed area away from our work zone. Our technician needs safe access to the entire perimeter of your home. If we arrive and a pet cannot be safely secured, we’ll reschedule your appointment.
Scheduling & Weather
What days do you service?
We service Saturday and Sunday, with weekday availability coming soon. We typically book appointments with a 2-hour arrival window. Let us know your preferred dates during booking, and we’ll find times that work for your schedule.
What if it rains on my scheduled day?
Rain won’t stop us, but if conditions are unsafe (heavy downpour, flooding, lightning), we’ll reach out proactively to reschedule. Makeup appointments are scheduled at no charge, and you’ll receive a complimentary re-inspection on your rescheduled visit.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2 to 4 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons (spring and fall). However, if you need service sooner, call us — we often have openings and can sometimes schedule within 1 to 2 weeks.
Do you service during winter?
Yes, we service year-round. Winter gutter cleaning is especially important in Nashville because ice dams and heavy wet leaves can clog gutters and cause damage. If conditions are icy or unsafe, we’ll reschedule for your safety.
Maintenance Plans
What’s included in the maintenance plan?
Our Maintenance Plans give you scheduled gutter cleanings at a 15% discount with a 12-month rate lock that applies to every cleaning during your plan year — including any unexpected ones. If a storm or heavy leaf drop means you need an extra cleaning before your next scheduled visit, you pay the locked plan rate (starting at $234 for single-story), not the standard rate. Choose from annual (1x), bi-annual (2x), or quarterly (4x) service. Every plan includes: scheduled cleanings at your chosen frequency, all debris removal, camera documentation every visit, priority scheduling during peak season, and your rate locked in for 12 months — even if standard pricing goes up. See our Maintenance Plans page for full tier pricing →
How often should I clean my gutters in Nashville?
Nashville’s climate and tree coverage call for regular gutter maintenance. Most homes should have gutters cleaned at least twice per year — spring (April-May) and fall (October-November). If your home is surrounded by oak, maple, or sweet gum trees, you may benefit from three cleanings per year.
Can I cancel my maintenance plan?
Yes. Maintenance plans can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ written notice. No penalties for cancellation. If you’d like to adjust the frequency or pause your plan seasonally, just let us know.
Service Area
What areas do you serve?
We service the Nashville metropolitan area within a 30-mile radius of Mt. Juliet, TN. This includes Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, Hermitage, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Smyrna, Gallatin, and surrounding communities. Call us or check our service area map on the website if you’re unsure.
Do you charge extra for farther locations?
No. Our quoted prices are all-inclusive within our 30-mile service area. There are no travel fees, mileage charges, or distance surcharges. What you see is what you pay.
Do you serve commercial properties?
Ground Force Gutters primarily focuses on residential properties. However, if you own a small commercial building or office in our service area, call us for a free estimate. We accommodate certain commercial jobs on a case-by-case basis.
